SUBIRA- The 9 award winning Kenyan short film is now available for purchase at the Ramoma art shop. The museum of modern art is located at 2nd Parklands rd. Open 9 a.m to 5p.m Monday to sat.

SUBIRA TO BE FEATURED ON AFRICA JOURNAL-REUTERS
CELLULOID DREAMS IN KENYA . Ravneet Chadha was financial adviser at 40, when she made a lifelong dream come true and ditched her financial career to make movies. Her most recent short-film ‘Subira’ won eight international awards and got rave reviews at FESPACO.
She let producer Ruth Njeng’ere and camera-man Ben Makori into her life and her imagination, and told us what making movies means to her. Vivianne Mukakizima wrote the script and put the story together with Anne Kahura.

SUBIRA SELECTED AT FESPACO-AFIRCA'S CANNES
SUBIRA is selected in competition for the prestigoius African film festival, FESPACO held in Ouagadougou , Burkina Faso. Only 2 Films made it to FESPACO from Kenya, Subira being one of them.
It will being held from feb 28th to march 7th,2009
